What Does Showing Up for Yourself Look Like This Week?

Showing up for yourself does not always look like a major life change, a perfectly planned routine, or having everything figured out.
Sometimes, it looks much quieter than that.
It can be saying no to something that drains you. Going to bed when your body tells you it is tired. Eating something that nourishes you. Asking for help instead of carrying everything alone.
It might mean taking five minutes of quiet before the day begins. Putting your phone down. Taking a walk. Wearing the outfit, jewelry, or color that makes you feel the most like yourself.
Showing up for yourself is recognizing that your needs matter, too.
So often, we honor our commitments to everyone else while continually rescheduling the ones we make to ourselves. We show up for work, family, friends, appointments, and responsibilities. But when something has to be removed from the calendar, our own care is usually the first thing to go.
This week, choose one thing that is just for you.
It does not need to be impressive. It only needs to be intentional.
Write it down. Add it to your calendar. Honor it like an appointment you cannot cancel.
Because every time you choose yourself, even in a small way, you are reminding your heart that it deserves your time, attention, and care.
